REKKN creates a public record. But sometimes you need more than visibility. These are the official channels for escalating a dispute beyond the public record.
Your REKKN report and its evidence can support any of these filings.
File a formal complaint with the BBB. Businesses with BBB accreditation are expected to respond. BBB complaints create an additional public record.
Every state has a consumer protection division. File a complaint with your state AG for deceptive practices, fraud, or consumer rights violations.
The FTC collects reports about scams, fraud, and unfair business practices. While they don't resolve individual cases, pattern data triggers investigations.
For financial products and services: credit cards, loans, mortgages, debt collection, credit reporting.
For disputes under your state's small claims limit (typically $5,000-$10,000). No lawyer needed. File in person or online in most jurisdictions.
If you paid by credit card, you may be able to dispute the charge directly with your card issuer. Most issuers have a 60-120 day window.
If multiple REKKN users have reported the same business for the same issue, it may qualify for class action consideration. We are working on attorney matching for future releases.
